I respect Chuck Prophet immensely as a songwriter, guitar player and performer. I've seen him a few times in Charlotte, and had the chance to see him in Northern California last week. The Mystic Theater is an old theater in Petaluma, CA - near Napa Valley. The staff let me take my camera inside, and I snapped a few pictures. Although I will admit that I struggled a bit to get the camera to work as planned. So these are mostly "happy accidents."
As far as Mr. Prophet is concerned, he plays a mean Fender Telecaster and has put out a bunch of highly underrated and beautiful records. The album "No Other Love" is a personal favorite and he co-wrote both "Real Animal" and "Street Songs of Love" with Texan singer/songwriter Alejandro Escovedo. You should really listen to more Chuck Prophet.
